Description
Summary:"Texas, 1970s. The serial killer Dean Corll kills around twenty boys and makes ultra-violent snuff films based on these murders with the help of two teenagers, David Brooks and Wayne Henley. Now sentenced to life imprisonment, David Brooks, who has become a ventriloquist and puppeteer, tells us his story from his prison where he imagined a show. From Dennis Cooper's short story inspired by real events, a visceral experience of violence and that of the gaze are taken to the extreme. In line with genre and horror films, Jerk explores the mechanisms of violence through questions linked to the relationship of domination, incarnation and disembodiment of bodies, this violence which can begin with the gaze."
