Andrew Stephenson

Official portrait, 2020 Andrew George Stephenson FRSA (born 17 February 1981) is a former British politician who most recently served as Minister of State for Health and Secondary Care from November 2023 to July 2024. A member of the Conservative Party, he was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pendle in Lancashire from 2010 until 2024.

Stephenson served continuously in different ministerial roles from 2017 to 2024. Including serving as Co-Chairman of the Conservative Party and Minister without Portfolio, attending Cabinet, from July to September 2022. He was subsequently appointed as a member of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council on 8 July, entitling him to the style "The Right Honourable" for life and appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2023 New Year Honours for political and public service.
