Isabel Capeloa Gil

Isabel Capeloa Gil as the 6th Rector of the [[Catholic University of Portugal Isabel Capeloa Gil (born in Mira, Mira on 22 July 1965) is the 6th Rector of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) and President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities. She is a Full Professor of Culture Studies at the School of Human Sciences. She studied in Lisbon (University of Lisbon), Munich (Ludwig Maximilian University) and University of Chicago and holds a PhD in German Studies from UCP. Previously, she was Vice-Rector for Research and Internationalization (2012–2016) and the Dean of the School of Human Sciences (2005–2012), of the Catholic University of Portugal.
